Hi everyone,
Just a question I need alittle help on concerning the paint schemes for Russian Infantry in 1944-45. I've seen a number of sites, the general idea for uniform colour seem to be anything from khaki to green. As the war went on, uniforms were different shades/colours as they were so mass produced, but I wondered if anyone could reduce that down abit, perhaps having painted some Russian figures previously?
I'm really looking to use either Tamiya, or probably Vallejo paints....the paint number too would be nice...... I know the figures I'm going to order, but it's then a pain to have to wait until after they've arrived and checked the painting guide, to have to then order the paints...I'm just too impatient!!!
Many thanks in advance to anyone who could give me some advice for these colours.
Cheers for now,
SIMON.

I paint figures mostly with other brands, but any khaki should be fine. I like to use Polly S Israeli khaki as a base, highlighted and darkened as necessary. I'd think Tamiya Khaki would be a good start for you.
