With all the talk of new SU-76's coming onto the market I thought I'd post what those lacking money can do to have this ugly little monster on their shelf........build one from scratch. Admittedly far from the very accurate kits already out there, I built this SU-76 for about 2 dollars all materials considered. Only the tracks aren't from scratch. I hope you like it, feel free to criticise.....otherwise, how would I learn
Here is a link to the build progress thread.
Thanks,
Thi

Looks good DB !
You've put a lot of work into it !!
Isn't it always the way, you either scratch-build or buy an expensive resin kit and BAM !!!, one or more manufacturers come out with new kits.
I have a couple of the DML/Alan SU-76's in my stash and have been putting off building them.
What with the new MiniArt kits coming out, I'll probably never get them built.
Cheers
