They look great. I like the effect of the magazine. Brought back memories. For general info the vietnam mud was red in the central highlands and north, but it was alot browner and a little grey to the south. 50% of the time you were knee deep in mud , the other 50% knee deep in dust... Great work keep it up.

Very very nice interior! I also have a half-built Zelda on the shelf and I'll definitely use these pics as references. Did you use any AM parts to replace the parts that came with the kit? I donwloaded the instruction manual for the Verlinden PE sheet and it looks like a lot of interior details have to be updated. But if I can get away with an OOB build then so much the better

Jeepney:
I'm doing this whole kit OOTB. No PE or anything. However all the equipment, etc is from the kit, Tamiya, and Verlinden.
The kit is now about 80 percent done, it's been a fun build with a few challanges (and a lot of injector pin holes). No real issues thus far. The side skits should gon in the next day or two, if I have no problems there I should be done in a week or so!!!
This is where I got a lot of the interor reference from....

When I did my Academy Zelda, http://webone.com.au/~myszka/IDF/Gallery/M113/113FR.JPG " TARGET="_blank"> http://webone.com.au/~myszka/IDF/Gallery/M113/113FR.JPG
I drilled out all the holes in the spaced armor with a powere driver and drill bit. They they had to be heated to flatten them out after sanding away all the nubbies left from the drillling.
The guys in the club were ready to nhave me committed. #:-)

I'll repost my usual plea here then too..

Does anyone out there in internet-land have interior pics of the perforated (Toga ) armrored version of the M113 APC this thread is based on?

I've got all the concord books, most of Katz's work and a lot of other random references, but I'm hoping that some lucku modeler got a peek inside one at an open house and blew a whole roll of film.

I'd started a psycho-detailed version, and found while I have wiring diagrams for all the interior, I'm missing some IDF-type details.

I've got loads of pics from Aberdeen Md I could trade for your troubles.
