Well, its been a while since ive posted anything on here, University has dominated all my time so modelling has taken a bit of back seat. This is going to be a very slow project indeed, I just do small bits whenever I have some free time.

I will be adding Voyager basic etch, voyager RWS, Griffon slat armor, blast models stowage and Hobby Fan crew figures. The RWS is complete(except for the fiddly ammo can which I need to solder together) this is beautifully molded and looks a lot nicer than the kit part, I added lion roar barrel to it.

Ive not actually got the slat armor/blast panels yet, so ive just been working on modifying the kit and removing any details in preparation, and working on what bits i can.

Like I said updates will be slow, but with easter holidays approaching I hope to get a little more done, and hopefully get my hands on the slat armor! Ive also just stupidly gone and picked up Lion roars massive DML M2 Halftrack super detail set-ive got etch coming out of my ears!

Thanks for looking!

Another brave man taking on the big job. Good to see your post.
I see you can articulate the wheels, is it possible to show individual wheels going over rocks or when the rear ramp is down the entire vehicle seems to be rear heavy? I know the Stryker can control the air in the tires but can it also adjust its suspension?
I know you're a fussy guy so I'll watch your build with interest.
Good luck

Rob I know how you feel about school, but its good to see you still have time to get some done. Your PE skills are commendable and it looks like you are well on your way to a great model!

Bill I don't think you can simulate the independent suspension and air inflation/deflation system even on AFV but I'm not sure.

I've not seen it done so I suspect you are correct. Does anyone know if the steerable front wheels is a custom job or built in to the kit?
Thanks
Bill

Thanks for the comments guys! Just working on some of it now before I head off to write some essays

Bill-The front steerable wheels are custom, I had to re-position the steering arms, its not perfect but looks ok-makes it look a bit different as well!

I like the look, much better than every wheel aligned, gives visual movement.
