My son and I finished our first try at a large scene. It's loosely based on " Private Ryan" enjoy!

Steve, I think you and your son did a wonderful job !!! .................. I like it.
The most important thing about your build is the quality time spent with your son researching and reading about history and applying it together in a dio.
The only comment I would have is about the pics.
Try using a light blue or medium blue construction paper backdrop, any color but white - the white makes the pics. glarey. Also try using some regular room lights and don't use a flash.
Once again - nice job you two !!!!
Glenn

Quite an impressive diorama for a first try. The theme is captured well, I like that you used a lot of different mediums and types of kits.
Big dioramas certianly streatch you as a builder, testing your patience, composition, and detail skills.
Nice job

Really nice first attempt! Kudos to both of you.
I really like the colors you chose to paint the building...the yellow is a great contrast.
My only "constructive criticism" for future dioramas would be to look at the debris field for the totally collapsed buildings...... there would be tons of rubble filling the interior portions of the buildings. Something to think about for your next one.
Again, nice one and thanks for posting
Cheers,
Charles

Great Layout and good choices of colour. I like the overall look of this. The bombed out look of the street is extremly well rendered. The yellow house front is indeed a good choice.
Well done
Cheers
