Looks good Steve! What was the fit like with the Formations and Blast stuff?
Maybe you could retake some pics as these look a little yellowed, and washes out the colour a bit too much...
What happened to the 'S' in USA on the right side?
Love seeing Shermans; any more in the pipeline?
Cheers
Brad

Great work! Great paint job, use of the aftermarket stuff, etc.
How did you like using that Formations suspension update? Difficult? Easy? I was thinking of getting a set.
One small note....since you obviously took the time to detail it well.....on the Tamiya M4 glacis, they used an M4A4 as a guide. Unfortuntately, the weld seams on an M4 are different than the M4A4, which means yours, which it seems as though you've raised, are actually in the wrong places. Kind of a shame, but not that big a deal.
Great job.

It is a good sherman, I love it!
But I recommend you to add necessary details to this Tamiya kits.
And the figure is good!

Hey Brad, the Formations stuff (Transcase, turret hull hatches and suspension update) fit vaey well. Casting quality first rate absolutely no flaws.Toughest fit was the transmission housing, getting it mated up evenly to the hull took some care.
You're right ,the photos didn't come out the best colorwise. I usually do that outside in natural light but the weather here has been either rain, overcast or snow lately.
Good eye, the transfers on that side wouldn't stick well for some reason. The "S" got goofed up, and kind of streched out. I plan on removing it and putting a new letter there.I also have since repostioned the commander looking straight ahead angle,I thought it looked better.
Rob,I was unaware of that weld discrepancy. Ouch! Ah well, there's usually at least one thing per project!
Thanks to all for the compliments! I think I'll tackle something German next.

Thanks DJ,Plain old Tamiya Olive Drab, lightened with a bit of Buff. Drybrushed with various shades of Khaki and Buff. I took the pics with indoor lighting, which throw off the colors some though.
