It’s me again,
Sorry to put this here but it is the fastest way to get to most of you.
From time to time the odd member misses a copy of Tankette. For some reason, this even happens to the same person? Please check your envelopes and see that your address is complete, correctly spelt and still up to date. Sometimes we cannot read your writing. If we do not have it right your postman will have to make a guess and can get it wrong.
Make sure that we know as early as possible of any change of address. All our envelopes are marked with a return address and we do get the odd postal return marked “Gone away” or “Not known”. Sadly, that is a waste of postage and time, not to mention disappointment for you.
Now and then, a country’s postal service can pose a problem. At the moment, some of our Italian members seem to be suffering a lot. We are sorry about this but ALL issues are sent out otherwise we would find envelopes left behind in the boxes.
Finally, so that we can check our postal performance, an occasional “Vol 43/?? Arrived today” email message to me from our overseas members would help us, many thanks.
