Hi again..... i saw this WWII marking stencil sheet when i was getting my panzer II.

Are these stencils any good ? The one i saw has different kinds of panzer division markings, some crosses, and is made of a sheet of metal (or something, zinc or aluminium , i dont know). And are they re-useable ? i couldn't read the instruction because its in Japanese

Maybe im referring to template ? I really dont know what this thing is called Sorry.

I have to learn Japanese

Thanks lads.....

I haven't used them, however, I've used the same circle template for wheels for years now and it's only made of plastic. It seems the difficulty might be in getting a tight fit over an uneven surface or ising it where there wasn't enough space to align the pattern where you need it. In theory, it should make for superb markings, however, given a reasonably skilled air brusher.

In addition to Al's post you could use the template as to create a mask from masking tape. The masking tape version could be use in tight spots and on uneven surfaces.

Just lay the tempalte down over a piece of tape and trace out the shape. Then use an exacto and cut out the mask. Be sure to cut the right part so you have the 'negative' part.

I have used the stencils on the Jagdpanther I just finished and they look GREAT!!
The only problem I have had is aligning the numbers and spacing them right.
I bought 3 stencils made by Verlinden and all three are good quality, it just takes practice to figure them out. :-)
