Try googling "Renault UE", this should give you some good results.

Tamiya doesn't publicized the "Renault" item due to the fact that royalties would probably be required. Notice that their 1/48 US figures and 1/4 ton utility vehicle that's really the Willys MB Jeep?
They didn't want to pay big bucks for the small jeep either.

Thanks John,
That was the way I was trying to get it the first time, obviously had a brain fart with the first try. Just one of the things that happens with age.

Stuff happens Steve, man oh man, I know what you mean !
It really, really sucks getting old !!
Either you can't get your eyes close enough and focused to what you're building or your arms just aren't long enough so you can read the instructions properly !!!
Cheers

Also, the next issue of Boresight, the AMPS journal, will have an article on the US including a slew of period photos all put together by our prez, Danny Egan. It's a nice article at a time (even if I do say so myself) when UE references are not real thick on the ground.

For those who are interested, there's a 5 page article in Steelmasters Magazine issue #14 (April 1996) dealing with UE variants in German service (with some 1/72 and 1/35 scale drawings by Hubert Cance)...
