First I'm trying to find out what I should buy for a Nice M2A2 Bradley.

What is included in this set. Is it worth buying to try and do a OIF 2003-04 model or is there other things that I should buy.

M2A2 Bradley OIF Tank from Academy Models Korea. How much work would it be to produce a nice show model if I bring this to a contest.Does it come with a interior or do I need to buy a Tamiya M2 and use that interior.

Happy Modeling

The Academy kit does not come with an interior... And it's one of my hated works...

As stated, Academy's M2A2 kit does not include an interior. If you wish to add an interior, this can be obtained from Tamiya's original M2 kit or Academy's M2 kit (the two kits are virtually identical, but Academy's is cheaper).

This will give you the original style interior with individual seating, which will be applicable to "upgrade" M2A2's but not for new build M2A2's (and later), which have bench style seating along the sidewalls.

As far as I am aware, the "Big Ed" set contains external, internal and turret interior details for the original Tamiya M2 kit.

Academy's and Tamiya's both build into M2A2 ODS vehicles from about '03-'04. Tamiya's represents an older, rebuilt vehicle, while Academy's is a new-build, early M2A2 ODS. The Academy one is a little more up to date and more refined than Tamiya's. However, Academy's has the wrong tracks for a modern Bradley. It still has the triangular block track from their original M2 kit. Modern Brads, since the mid-'90s, have rectangular block tracks. AFV Club has a really nice plastic track set, Fruil also does metal tracks for it.

The Big Ed set, unless it is new, is really for the original M2 kit with interior, exterior, and turret details, along with a mask set. It is still useful, but has many obsolete parts on it. The turret interior is nice though.

Check out Pavel's Bradley Article for some updates and corrections that can be applied to either kit.

Yes, that is the same old M2 Bradley Big Ed set I am talking about above. It is not really up to date for an M2A2. If that is the kit Tom is talking about, it has some parts that can be used to update them, but not to M2A2 standards.
