Hi guys
some pics of my M4A3 76mm
base kit is Italeri's budget offering, corrected with some scratched details, plus an Aber PE set and tracks from AFV Club. Stowage is resin from Blast, casting marks are from Archer.
Painted with White ensign enamel OD, blasted with Future then oil washed. Fuel stains are gloss acrylic.
MARKINGS - I know theyre missing sadly I lost the transfer sheet after repainting the tank, so this one is filling a hole on my bookshelf with no markings now.
Thanks for looking....
cheers
Jon

Nice work, the Blast stowage really works although it does look a bit shiny here. To make up for lack of markings you could just paint some fresh OD where the stars would be as they were often painted over. The weathering of the turret and upper hull is a bit even - you could alter it a bit -have cleaner parts where the crew clamber over the vehicle.
One other thing is that the inside of the driver's hatch should be OD and not white.

Hi Jon,
I'm sure I will have some unused American Decals Around if they might help?
Nice work on the kit.

I had a same problem with my Blast stowage. While they are superbly detailed,I found I had to paint the stowage parts with several coats of paint before I got a flat finish. Then I further used a clear flat over that. Weird.

Nice Sherman, what barrel did you use, or did you modify the kits? I am working this kit also and am having trouble making the barrel sand out to the correct shape.
