Hi all
can somebody point me the the right direction for some Canadian Figures for a Lav III and possibly some infantry. How close are the Canadians outfits to the US ones?
cheers

Hi Keith
As far as I know, there aren't any..... anywhere. Which is really unfortunate becasue there's so much potential for their use. I think some of the modern US figures may be very similar if not virtually the same, but I'll let more knowledgable people post about that. I've heard rumors of some in the works, but maybe Jason (LeoCmdr) might know???
I've adapted the Academy IDF Tank Crew set for some Canadian AVGP Cougar figures, but that's a far cry from what you'd need for an LAVIII in Afghanistan. Be patient, someone will post here soon, I'm sure.
Sorry I couldn't help more....

Nope, no modern Canadian figures of any kind.....AFV crew or Infantry exist.
The "oufits"....meaning combat uniforms are different than the US uniforms....but not totally different and could be modified......but....the Canadians use a distinct load bearing vest different than the US troops use.....this would have to be scratch build or sculpted.
The Canadian also use the ballistic helmets with headsets in the AFVs and the US troops use the CVC helmets.
If you want images of the crews and Infantry do an image search on the Canadian Forces Combat Camera site for anything Afghanistan related.
Maybe one day soon there will be modern Canadian figures.....but not yet.
