I’ve been trying to figure out how to manufacture sandbag armor for a model of 40 COED, one of the flame tanks the Marines employed on Iwo Jima, I’m about to begin and then stumbled upon an article on this site about resin cast sandbag armor produced by HardCorpsModels which would be ideal.

Unfortunately though, when I tried to get onto the HardCorpsModels website to order this item, I was sent to a GoDaddy website advertising porn (see included link; obviously not for children).

Would any of you know what happened to HardCorpsModels and, if they did go under, how I can get the sandbag armor from another supplier (I have yet to find anyone else offering this style of sandbag armor).

Thank you in advance.

Dave Harper is working for Squadron these days. It is my understanding that the website for Hardcorps Models is still working.

This from Dave Harper:

Renewal with Go daddy?
March 10 2008, 10:29 PM

I discovered the page was down last night. I am checking on the reason, I believe that it has something to do with the domain renewal.

They have an old email address, I am working it out now, should be back up and running this week.

I contacted them about the same kit. They, sadly, no longer make it!
