The other day, someone on Missing-Lynx suggested using Acrylic paste as a filler on those hard to reach gaps on figures. Well, this afternoon (after years of using putty) I finally tried it out out.

You can clean up the excess with water, it can be applied by brush, cocktail stick or any small item and it fills without shrinking.

If you can't get the Mig one then try your local art suppliers.
I've been using Liquitex Acrylic Gesso for years now and it works great.

Thanks Iain - as I spent a frustrating several hours yesterday looking in various arts-supplies stores yesterday (without a brand name), that's an enormous help...

Good tip Jim,
An alternative to Mig is Vallejo Plastic Putty
It comes in the same small squeezable bottles as the rest of the Vallejo range and dries relatively quickly.
Gino Poppe recommended it to me a while ago and since then i swear by it.
Cheers,
Shay
