Hi Guys,
I saw over on the LEM and Mil Mod that Dragon have a new Sherman Mk III due out. Box says it's a mid production model for Sicily.
Anyone got more info on this yet? Mind you I haven't built the last one yet!!
Cheers
Al

I note that dispite its widespread use among British and Commonwealth units, Dragon are short-changing us again with regard to marking options. The previous Sherman III only gave three options for the same unit, this one it looks like you only get one.

Alan, Geoff I have just posted the news story on the new kit. A lot of improvements so I personally am not bothered by the decal options. After all the guys in Echelon, Bison and Archer have to have something to do

It's a little more than that actually - as Geoff said, three vehicles for the SAME unit wasn't exactly using any imagination whatsoever...
I also hope that DML's designers have consulted Starmer this time regarding the color scheme... They didn't before.

Hi Al,
From the box art its the Fisher hull "M4A2 Tarawa" reboxed with British fittings as the Sherman MkIII. I like the new Sherman kits from Dragon, they are far more accurate and detailed than their old Sherman MkV kits. Dragon are going back to the M4 Composite later this year, releasing an M4 PTO and Hybrid MkIC Firefly. I hope they correct the faults and bring them up to the quality of their M4A2 kits.

No, it is not. It's much more than that.

Whilst Critical of the single marking options and DML's behaviour I give this Kit a big thumbs up as a great rework of a pretty good kit to start with. DML have corrected the identified Faults of the original kit with this one which is great. A couple of Alternative marking sets would have been nice but I'll happily live with kit as is.
Please Pavel, try and talk them into a set of those lovely tracks as released so far. I really appluad the fact that the new USMC M4A2 75 late comes with two sets and hope that the option of EEC sets is carried over int oall new releases. It is truly commendable. DML could make a killing by selling either grouped sets or just one set individually.
I look forward to the M4A2 late and the promised M4 Composite if these are anything to go by. Thanks for taking the time to correct the faults and add WE 210's
