just got started on making a dio in arenhem. the scene will be fictional. but it will be either just outside or in the gardens of arenham.
story; a group of germans are retreating from the british away from the river, in a rural garden or country lane type setting. a british bren gunner is firing at the germans as the retreat from unsuitable cover.
one german who dosen't quite get the idea of "run for your life" stands heroically in the middle of the track firing a '42 from the hip at the british invaders.

Jimmy,
Sounds like a good plan. It will be good to see a Bren gunner in the scene, what kit would you use for him?
Looking forward to your progress,
Chas

Jimmy,
Sounds good. Always is one guy who doesn't get the general idea.
What if any armor or soft skins will you use?

just people in this one!
figures are just going to be dragon tamiya oob as its my first primerialy figure dio.
no mods just using what i have!
the '42 gunner is tamiya and a fine tamiya figure, lately i am becoming more impressed with the sharpness of detail of new tamiya kits.
unfortunatly my bren unner was from dragon. not a gen 2 kit. i was pretty dissapointed with him to be honest. so i will have to look elswhere for one unless someone has a spare one lying around for cheap.
kits used are tamiya panzergrenadiers .
and Dragon red devils arenham(1944)
can you get scale dry stone walling, or is that not a arenham thing .
what would the building work in and around the back of houses gardedns and possibly farms have been like?

i used a game world editor to make this rough sketch,
dont lnow wether to use bricks or dry stone wall ing
it will roughly be A4 size. what should i use for groundwork?
papier maché or plaster?
using verlinden figure sets, crossfire and british bren gun team.
both have 2 figures. the idea has slightly changed due to availiability.
the car in the middle will hopefully be a des models citeron, gas car,. with the gas canisters on the roof.
