Hi All,
I just picked up David Harper's book: Tank Warfare on Iwo Jima. With all of the pics in the book, plus what else is out there, I think there should be enough material for a decal sheet. Is anyone truly interested in a sheet that would cover 7-10 vehicles from the USMC of various types from the PTO?
If you are interested, post a response to this message on this forum. Let's see where it goes from there.
Regards,
Georg Eyerman

Georg,
YES. There is so little done on the PTO, any little bit is bound to cause drool for those who don't want to follow the crowd into the ETO. USMC or even Army markings would be great.

Hi,
YES-YES-YESSS!!
Especially in 1:72 scale...
The tanks on Iwo Jima are my long-time favourites, but I'm interested in every kind of Pacific stuff from Guadalcanal to Okinawa. It's a big gap in this theme, isn't it? We have a lot of beautiful 1:72 kits today, but hard to find good decals from this theatre of operations
All the bests,
Peter

If you have the research done, you might want to contact Woody at Archer, as he's always looking for new projects if there is enough demand and information available.

Norm,
Uhhh, you didn't go to the url above. My company, Decalcomaniacs! makes decals. I make them one-at-a-time, so they're always fresh. Check the site out. Maybe there is something you like.
