I was just sorting through some boxes of old models I've had in storage and came across this 20mm Flak diorama that I built about 20-odd years ago.
It was around the dawn of the Verlinden explosion and I obviously took a lot of ideas from his first book.
The figures and gun are all Tamiya...no Dragon back then ...the building is a plaster DCS kit, which was the first range Verlinden produced.
I think the rubble is from an Italeri Church Window kit.Other small items were Historex I think.
Apart from the missing radio aerial it all seems remarkably intact.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I'd be interested if anyone has comments to make on what, to me at least, is kind of ancient history...

I think is great, have nothing to point out.

Thanks Pedro, since rediscovering it I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out all those years ago.

Thanks Karl...I don't know about masterpieces...I've only just started getting back into 1/35 after years of doing other stuff like Sci-Fi, Trucks etc.
I think I went through a purple patch in my youth with the advent of Verlinden...
