The elevation is great, then the church on top really is nice.
The lighting is cool too.
My only critique which is a small nit pick - is that I don't know if gas cans would be in an AA pit.

I LIKE THE DIO. THE GROUNDWORK AND FLAK PIT ARE PARTICULARLY WELL DONE. FLESH TONES ARE WAY TOO LIGHT FOR TROOPS WHO SPEND MOST OF THEIR TIME OUT IN THE WEATHER. THEY LOOK LIKE ZOMBIES FROM MICHAEL JACKSON'S THRILLER VIDEO.

Thanks everyone,
This is actually my second diorama overall. I'm still learning a lot about figures and as far as I can tell it's a whole different ball game.

Well... for once, you can make improvised bombs like the one on the 4th pic
![](../../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/wink.gif)
just below the guys finger. A bit of ducktape, a stiehlgrenade, and some gasoline do wonders
![](../../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/bulb.gif)
anyway that was the idea
The grass was done by a mix of 3 types of coloured fine sand-dust, then a layer of static grass, then some oregano for the leaves layer and various patches of dried plants and herbs. Everything you can find outside of your house

Nice work Mario. You've made good use of the Italeri ruin and your trenchwork and groundwork is great. For your second diorama this is really good work.

That's great work there...I really like the different levels. As to the Jerrycans, don't forget these were also used for parafin for lamps and cooking, and also for drinking water.

Very good effort for your second attemt, you have included a lot of different ellements, figures, building, groundwork and the gun pit and you have done a great job overall.I like the effect you have created with the grass.
Yes the figures are a little pale on the skintones but that a minor point considering the whole scene.
Well done
Steve

Looks awesome. Great level of detail. I noticed below the flak on the ground were some spent shells. How did you make those?

Its a nice dio for sure. As many before me I like the elevation and built up of the scene. Just some more care when painting the figures would lift it a lot.
The ruin looks like an old one? If so, perhaps some more overgrowth on it and if not more debris around it.
Cheers

Hey Mario,
Just repeating everyone elses comments, this is a superb dio, even more so for your second one!!
The groundwork is especially worth mentioning, superb. And the AA Flak and trench is excellent. I'm working on my next diorama now, featuring a similar sort of thing just on a smaller size, so I'll be using yours as some inspiration!!
Well done again,
SIMON.

Great job Mario! Very busy and detailed. Outstanding layout and groundwork. I'm in agreement with the flesh tone comments.Figgys are the hardest part most of the time,IMO.
Really very nice for second build.
Cheers!
