I was walking down the DVD aisle in Best Buy the other day (through the area with Box Sets to be exact) and I saw a bunch of different war box sets. I looked at them for a bit and one caught my eye...World War II Battlefront. This 5 DVD set details many, many battles of WWII, has great pictures and video sequences, and, best of all, IT'S ALL IN COLOR!!! Price - $25 for 7.5 hours of footage/info.

I felt it was my duty as an armor builder to let the rest of you in on this juicy little piece of information. It costs the same as a couple reference books, and is, IMHO, probably a bit more valuable in terms of seeing action as it actually happened. There are plenty of armor shots in there that you may find useful.

Although I have not seen the exact product of which you speak, I too find my colour footage particularly valuable, most noteably my "Third Reich In Colour" Sets.

You can also catch Battlefront and some others on The History Channel if you want to preview them first. Just check the History Channel Website. Every once in a while it is also on PBS.
