Hi guys. Just want to show you what I during our week long vacation. This is an Tamiya Humvee I had sitting on my shelf for a few years now. I handbrushed the camo before and now I redid the crappy piantjob with my airbrush and added a few minor details using tin, copper wire and styrene.
CIP's on the doors are scratched using styrene
the headlights won't come off before painting and it was already covered in paint so I just painted over it with chrome silver
Weathering is done with ground chalk pastel mixed with alcohol.
Thanks for viewing

Looking really nice Mark, good job you've done there on the 3 tone camo. Only thing i would say is the side lights need to be painted orange and there appear to be a few finger prints on the dusty finish.
keep up the good work!

Mark,
Looks pretty good. I like the weathering. Painting tip: go over the headlights with some future or semi gloss clear to give a bit of sheen.

Whenever we went tactical, we had to take OD duct tape (man I wish I kept a few rolls of that!) and put it over all the lights and reflectors. If you don't like the look of the lights you could simulate that.
Your camo and weathering really look great. Just get rid of those few thumbprints on the back deck. Really nice job!
