At the above address you can see pics of my first dio. Germans ambushing a Canadian patrol at a bombed out winery in Normandy. I need to work on my figure detail more, but I feel good about my first attempt. My father made all the scenery and I did all the models.
Let me know what you think.

That looks really good hastyP. What kit did you get the canadians out of? The Tamyia brits on patrol? You will have to get your dad to share his skills on making shrubs and trees, they look very good. What did you use to make your little stream? A very nice dio, but where do you have the room to display it??

Bison
I got the Canadians from the tamyia brits on patrol and the commonwealth troops by Dragon. The carrier is from tamiya as well. The germans are the assault troop pack and the gun is the pak 40 both by tamiya.

Really great dio. I wonder how long you are modeler because I'm over five years and I've never built such a nice dio.

I have only been a modeler for the last year or so. I started with the carrier in the dio, then the Canadians footsoldiers, then the german infantry and finally the pak40. My father built all of the scenery. He used to be a model railroader so he is quite experienced at making the landscape. My figures are the weakest part of the scene. :-)

You haven't seen mine first figures. Yours are really ok. Nowadays I try to "improve" my old models. This way I improve my skills before I start kiting/kitting (my english is ...) the new model.
