Hi folks
I bought the MIG German Filter set, but I am not really sure when I should apply it.
Shall I apply it directly on the painted model or first after the gloss coat and the decals are applied?
Thanks for tips.
Nils

After painting, you apply a gloss coat or some future and appy your decals.
When your decals are dry, put another gloss or semi gloss ( satin ) coat on your model.
After the last layer has dryed, you can put on your MIG filters and your dusting or what ever you want.

hi nils
i usually apply my filter/wash directly to my top coat of paint.if you have painted your afv with acrylics then the filter will stain the top coat and leave you with a filter.i haven't used the mig set but i would have thought it is the same as an oil paint based wash.if you can spend a few euro's then try this dvd 'realistic armor finishing techniques' by marcus nicholls it will explain everthing in great detail.
good luck

Hi Frank and Neil
Thanks for your replies. I see, there are 2 ways to go for.
I think, I will try both of them and will see which is better.
