Looks excellet ... painted and weathered thatīll look very neat. Any chance you could include a figure to get an idea of the scale! Cheers.

Very cool scratch build. Should you have two pair of the "S" PE brackets that hold the slider and the base together? Not sure, I've never seen a ladder like this.

thanks for quick reply's, I have a 3 piece model at home, and it only has one bracket per part on each side,I presume you are talking about the top guide brackets because the ladder is held by the brackets on the bottom 'spar'?tred? these kan be lifted up and then towards you , as another person, or the same (if he's strong and handy )
pulls the ladder up by pulling the rope.on the end of the ladder I have also placed wheels so the ladder 'rides' up graduately.
thanks for the interest

Yes, thats what I'm talking about - and if you have one with only one pair of braces then that's good for me. Well done.

Nice job. Somethings don't have to be complex to be well done. I like it.

Very nicely done. What's it going to be used for?
Hmmm... Ladder, HMMWV, Assault...
Or for just goofing around. Ours is a local Iraqi Purchase, and yours looks just like one.

@Chris; it took a day of work, mind you I had an simpler version, but changed the next day and started this one around 830 in the morning when I came off duty, and by the time dinner was served I almost had the first part done, with some pausing (fell asleep a couple of times ) it was finished around 1700 h, some fiddeling, adding some pe pieces ,so not so long a job, it takes away all the stress and misery I see
@Frank; no problem, you send me your creditcardnumber and I'll have a look if my trustfund is already on-line
( I'm really the son of a cousin of the man who sold grossery's to the ant of the housekeeper of Atlantis, and a nice Nigerian man send me a mail to say I have at least 30000000biljion dollars in PURE gold laying around in Ethiopia,I only need a creditcardnumber )

Pit, good job. PE parts are doing their job here .
Is it a Dragon's Polish officer I see next to your ladder?
Congratulations concerning the Ethiopia gold. If you ever go out of ideas what to do with it, I can give you my adress

yes of course it is the Polish officer
Like the Polish, they liberated my town, sacrificing their lives for the British/Allies,and dispite great trouble gave the Germans quite a lesson or 2 on being brave in combat.
About the gold, I'll keep it in mind

There are some really decent people in Nigeria .... I get mails all the time from people offering me millions of dollars. I always dreamed of the day when you couldnīt give money away.

See the way the wire is already moving upward to the left of the pic? On the first pole, which was higher, I was on the topmost rung and reaching over my head trying to squirt red loctite onto two bolts. Of course it ran down onto my shirt. This is why we are self sufficient. No one else wants to be around when the investigation starts...
