Hi James,

I would go for the Tasca Firefly kit, Modelkasten tracks and Lionmarc barrel. To top this off, you can replace the kits on vehicle tools by the magnifiscent tool-set by Formations....

Just my two cents, Happy modelling,

John.

You can't use the Tasca Firely because it is an Sherman Vc M4A4 whereas the photo shows a Firefly Ic with a Hybrid M4 hull. Dragon are supposed to be releasing a new tooling of this kit in the future but no date. Formations and Tankworkshop both make Hybrid hulls and there is an older Dragon release of a Firefly Ic that you might find.

Nice Pic of a Hybrid 1c. Any idea of the unit?
As to kitting this you can wait till the cows come home for DML to release the 1c hybrid again, hunt down the old kit of the 1c hybrid (DML 9037) or put one together from AM

Formations sell a very nice Firefly Turret and accessories plus a nice m4 Composite hull. The only hard bit to replicate in that photo would be the ports side track where the steel plate has come away (under the idler. This is the first time I've seen this on Steel track. and the first time in Europe that I've seen it.
Cheers

The Dragon Firefly IC Hybrid has resurfaced recently, I saw a few in a shop in London earlier this year.

I might know were there is a Dragon upper hull, you will need a lower, suspension, turret etc.
Let me know if interested and I will check it out (buddies spare parts bin, do not think he was a use for it )
