I bought the verlinden rathaus from ebay last week and it arrived. what i noticed though, there are no plastic parts with the kit.
For example
the window frames, the handrail on the stairs, the fancy shelf looking things next to the door and below the top window.
I know the box says the building only, but i assumed it meant it didnt come with any of the rubble or the cannon thing, but i did think it would come wiht the stuff i listed above as technically they are part of the building???
My question is, is it supposed to come with this stuff. i bought it from ebay and the box wasnt sealed, just taped shut. i just wanted to make sure it wasnt supposed to come with this stuff
By the way, i love the kit, and have a different one on the way to compliment this one, i just wanted to know if it should have this stuff
Here is the link to the product so you could see what i mean

Mike,
You got what you should have gotten. It should have had some PE in it for the hand rails on the stairs, but that is about it, no plastic or resin extras.

The buildings come without extras IIRC. (It's been a long time since i bought my last one.) The extras can be bought as separate sets from Verlinden or other brands.
The apropriate set (# 0052 Bannisters, Ornaments) is still in their inventory.
Alternate railings for the stairs: # 2196 Railings Usefull Stuff.
The apropriate window set might still be available throught fe Ebay. (It's also an old Verlinden set.)
Hope that helps.
