Hi to everyone,

I would like to know which Staghound kit is better.

I read at perthmilitarymodelling that the bronco kit needs some sanding on the turret to get the correct shape. Does it need a lot of sandind?

I also read that there were different turret shapes at perthmilitarymodelling. Anyone can point out the different shapes and some photos or links to see them ,the time frame of each one, which one was more common and country to which each one was issued.

Thanks in advance,
Angel

As Terry pointed out, there are a few 'shape' problems' with the Bronco kit these however are pretty minor and DON'T take anything away from the accuracy.

As to your original question, i'd go with the Bronco kit. Italeri has some 'issues' over the barrel although it's easy enough to find a good AM replacement. The Italeri kit tends towards 'over-simplification' whereas, IMO, the Bronco kit is a touch 'over-engineered' - the Italeri kit is correspondingly easier to build though..

Read carefully what Terry said - it's not just a question of differences in TURRETS - it's the Turret FITTINGS which show many detail differences..
