Nice diorama, well thought out.

My 'Nit Pick', those metal tracks on a stone road would show lots of wear (Steel shine).

Even so, it is still a very good diorama...

Hi Chris,

While some more pics from different angles and close up would be nice it seems you have done an excellent job here.

Your groundwork is excellent, including the water which is very well done. You have also displayed some great airbrush skills with the camouflage pattern.

Just a few pointers for you:

1. The road is far too clean, it really needs dirtying up. I'd suggest getting some pigments on there, dust and dirt would collect between those road stones very easily.

2. While this is an excellent setting to display this tank, it seems to me like there is too much open space, i's suggest adding a couple of figures, although with the french figures available you don't have much choice! Perhaps surrendering Germans as something a bit different?

3. That leads me to the composition, I see you have a fallen tree branch which is a nice touch. Hoowever, I get the impression that the tank has stopped because it is blocking its way? There is no way a little branch like that would make the driver blink let alone stop! The Char B1 bis would happily roll over and crush something twice its size!

Please don't take these the wrong way, it is a great scene. A little bit more work and it could be a real show stopper!

Hi,

very good job on the water and direct surroundings.
Like jamessite already sayed, the wheatering of the road , but also if possible, a different colour + wheatering of the wall would be nice.
What you can also ad are weeds along the streets border, under the stonewall on the street side, perhaps aome ivy or at least some green pigments simulating moss on the bridge stones.
The tubes for the owerflowing water needs some heavy wheatering , simulating the occasional water and dirt going through.

Otherwise you are on the way of a very good dio.

Cheers
Claude
