Hi guys,

I have two question.
First: I have an old IDF-Blazer with KMT-mineroller that i want to convert into an M60 Panther.
Remove the turret, strip the paint, change the track and sprocket wheels.
When the turret is removed was the open hull sealed off like on the M1 Panther II or was it left open ?
I found some pictures on the NET that showed an m113 like turret with AVAC shields around it.

Second: what colour what an M60 Panther be, overall green or NATO-Camo ?

I hope somyone has the answers !!

Found this picture too on the Net, seems like the turret was just removed and the hull left open.
The picture i'm referring to shows the front of an M60 Panther with something that looks likes an M113 ACAV turret op top of it.
Or am I mistaken and is it a vehicle that FOLLOWS UP to the M60 Panther ?

You're right about the turret : it belongs to the M113 that follows the Panther. If not, the turret would appear bigger...

Hi Frenchy,

Thought so, it belongs to an M113 following the M60 Panther.
Seems now i have to scratchbuilt the interior of that M60.
Hope to find any pictures of the inside !!

Sheers, What you are seeing is not an ACAV but a HEMTT truck cab. Notice the wheels visible beneath the front of the M-60.
