I 'think' you can. If there is a question at all in your mind and you don't want to redo the base coat. Give it a shot of dull coat first to protect it.

I've found you can airbrush just aboutr any hobby paint over another hobby paint. including laquer over acrylic.

I've been able to do it without any problems or need to put a barrier between one paint brand and the other.

I agree should be no problem. But, if you want to be absolutely sure. Test on a scrap piece first!
