Hi sister,
That looks great.I think you better add some weathering to your figures and dioramas. That can make it a master piece. I liked all the figures and checkpoint but Zündapp is not good as the others,a little poor assembly and not a good paintwork. :-) :-) just kidding...that is a very good piece.congrats and best regards to you and hubby.

PS:I did a dio with the same Dragon figures before,if related please see link

Very nice vignette. The finish detail on the figures is very good.
The base is intriguing - what is it made out of?
Keep up the work on the detail.

Thank you dmd. Nope the cabin comes with the base kit. It's Italeri's old "Check Point" kit.

very nice !
I must say I like the groundwork very much. The tracks on the road, the placement of the grass... very convincing !
I agree with graywolf : the rest looks very nice, but a little bit more weathering would make it even better !

Ola Ladymodeler2

Well well you are away for a couple of days and what happens there are some real nice things popping up as posts and pics.

Ladymodeler first of all I want to say that I really love your dio. It`s nice and simple and It tells the story very well. I like it. It`s also good to see something beautifull made out of the old italeri checkpoint kit so deep respect for that. :-) :-) :-)

One thing that would really finish it is a little weathering of the figs but that is already said so forget that part and take my compliments on this one

I think you deserve points for building something different! Its nice to see little dio of a checkpoint. The painting of the timber is really well done and very covincing. As said before a little weathering on the figures and maybe the read and white barricade would be very effective. But it doesnt take away too much. Congratulations!

Graywolf,
I like the idea of making two dios showing the same place in different stories. Is it the same dio you reworked or a completely different one altogether ?
