I am getting my Father's day/Birthday list together. Top of my list is the Legend M-31 ARV conversion for the Tamiya M-3 kit. I run hot and cold with legend products. Some are great (stowage sets) and some are disasters (their M-5 modification) for me. Does anyone have experience with the M-31 ARV conversion?
thanks

I have it and it's very good. However, don't get the Tamiya M3 Lee -- it really deserves the Academy M3 Lee despite its shortcomings -- it's MUCH better.

I'll second Roy's comments. The kit is very nice. Mine has some warpage on the boom arms, but I think that it will come into line as it gets assembled--although I haven't started that in earnest yet. Get the Academy Lee and a resin suspension fix of some sort. Formations makes a nice set to correct the bogie height, and Resicast makes an entire bogie cluster that is exquisite. That's what I'll be using on mine. Eventually. And I really want to build that treadway bridge too, but that requires it's own budget for sheet styrene!

Roy/Greg-- thank you for your comments. Lucky Model has it for $55 plus free shipping. Sounds like a good deal.
