I just looked into the Italeri LVT-4 kit on my workbench and the tracks are the "rubber band" variety.

I checked my Friulmodelismo supplier, and it doesn't appear they make tracks for this series of waterborne tanks, though the weathering possibilities are so interesting. Their LVTs are modern ones like the Bradley, and I can't believe the tracks have remained the same 50 years later. Any suggestions?

A lot of time ago I've see a review about replacement tracks for this kit, made by Hard Corps Models.
They are made in a clear blue resin, created with the 3d print technology, and this is the reason why they costed A LOT!

I think in addition to the AA Traxpax ( get out your blowdryer!) & HardCorps Models I believe Cromwell Models makes a set in resin. Also CMK makes a full resin kit of the A1 - it has resin tracks as well.

Semi-flexible? As in "might break if you're not careful"?

Thanks, guys, I'll check them out.

Friul's would be soooo much better. The rust and seawater possibilities are mind-boggling....

Apparently they were too rich for anyone to purchase in quantities, because they're no longer listed on the site. But the dry transfers available look promising! Thanks.

Y'know for years I've been wanting to do an AFV Club Scimitar to depict my wagon in Bosnia in '93/'94 and held off 'cos the tracks were so bad and I never knew that AA did a CVR(T) track set. Well I'll have to get myself the kit now. Thanks for the link Frenchy.
