I'm scratchbuilding the whole T-72/T-90 hull, but I need some info more: There are two bulges, one at each side of the hull, just below the turret ring, like those on the T-54/55/62, but I don't know ifthe bulges are limited to the fender level or if they protude below the fender level, or th exact shape of them. Anyone has pics or drawings of the T-72 bare hull without the fenders? Or maybe a pic showing the undersides of the fenders at the turret level, I think that will work as well... As soon as I get the info I can make that bulges and give them the shape for placing the fenders... Don't worry, You'll have progress pics as soon as I finish some major parts of my T-72/90 hull. Thanks a lot in advance.

Follow this link to Tanknet and read through all 51 pages of the thread. You will find all the info available in those pages. Really. It is a gold-mine of info.

Yes, I've read through the 102 pages, but I've only found a tiny pic, and I haven't found any info concerning the T-80 glacis actual thickness (not the estimated against HE or AP, I MEAN the real thickness) or angle as well... BTW, that thread has a lot of good info... Thanks a lot for the link. Most regards.

All the info you are going to find right now would be in that thread. You can also try looking through other threads on the site or post your own question there. Tank net is populated by tankers, industry reps (often former military) and analysts. Stuff that is semi-classified often show up there and people often answer up to their limits.

My guess is that the thickness is still a classified secret.
