Can anyone tell me if the Russians used the "bedspring" armor during any of the Kharkov battles?
My references don't include russky stuff!
Thanks and regards, Ed

Nope, the mesh armor was developed as a countermeasure to the panzerfaust & panzerschreck. The first usage was on the approach to Berlin, according to Marshal Konev's memoirs.
