Hello,
I have got a Leclerc on my workbench too.
For NATO and Desert Camo I would use pics of www.kampfpanzer.de, a German page about MBTs - also in English.
For UN-Version I recommend www.gettyimages.com. Just enter there e.g. 'leclerc unifil' or 'leclerc lebanon' you will find pics of this tank

if I may jump in this thread, just have a look at my website, you'll get a bunch of pics in the 3-tone camo and a few in the desert scheme as well.
BTW, if you're interested in superdetailing it, go to the Review section and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll get a kind of tweak list.
Enjoy modeling the Leclerc (named after Marshall Leclerc de Hautecloque)

Aloha everyone!
Can someone please explain to me in a nutshell what are the main differences in all the different Leclerc variants? I've seen an RT5 variant I believe which is a supposed KFOR mod but I guess it is now up to a variant RT X (10) I think. Furthermore of these variants which one is the most widely used currently in the French inventory? And is the Tamiya version now then out of date?
Thank you in advance!!!
Kurt

Hi Kurt
You can take a look at this article from kampfpanzer.de for Leclerc variants (but it's bigger than a nutshell )

Hi Kurt,
to answer the last part of your question, the Tamiya kit is quite good for the current MBTs we have in line. The latest model we got isdepicted in my site by J. Vermeulen who converted the Tamiya kit, quite a good effort in fact.

Thanks for the link. I dont waht to do anymore. It was supposed to be a OOB. Then i went with the UN scheme then i went back to the 3 tone. Now I might end up doing the UN again, until I seen the 3 tone in the mud..... decisions, decisions. Oh well thanks for the link.
