I didn't know where to put this so I apologise if its the wrong place. This is Dragon's Panther F which I've had for ages, started, abandoned and decided to finish for the Get it Done campaign running on ModelGeek. I finally put all the pieces together and I'm now thinking about camo. I was trying to finish in time for a local show but that didn't work out so now I'm thinking I might add some night fighting gear.

Thanks Jesper.

I've applied a camoflage scheme, weathering and drybrushing. I still need to do some detailing, touch ups and add the tracks.

Looking good Gary. I have a Panther F that is suffering the same fate as your was. Wish I could finish mine too. Guess I'll just have to watch yours and be green with envy

Looks good but would look even better with the original road wheels than the steel version.

Thanks for the comments guys. I agree with you, Jeff, about the road wheels. I was planning to go with the regular wheels (both come in the kit) as I was basing the model off a photo that showed the small turret on a G hull with the 75mm gun. However, since this kit has been kicking around the house for a couple of years I discovered that 3 sets of wheels were missing when I restarted . As a matter of fact I almost abandoned this project again because I couldn't find the axles for the idler wheels | . Luckily those turned up.

Here's the finished Panther. I've used the vinyl tracks from Tamiya's Jagdpanther instead of the individual links supplied in the DML kit mostly because i didn't think I'd get it done otherwise. I see by the pictures that I need to shoot a coat of matte spray. I will eventually put this on a modest base with a standing crewman on the engine deck but for the purposes of this campaign I am done.
