hello everyone,
I'm having some problems about a Valentine tank

i got me a Valentine Mk III from Dragon/Alan...
Accurate Armour Early pattern wheels
Accurate Armour Valentine /Aec 2man turret

some pe from airwave

now you might be wondering why buy all this and then wonder if it gonna fit
well i bought this kit and rest at a modelmeet from another modeler, and I'm going to enter "Burning Sands " campaign on the Benelux site so.....
fist of all
Can I make an MkII out of the MkIII ?
What should I change,or anyone has a link with usefull info?
What colourscheme, sand with the blue stripes?
and finally anything more usefull for my brain

well it's a lot asked, but keeping in mind the british love their Armoured history and other military factbooks, I know reply's will be streaming in

Dragon/Alan/VM never did a Valentine III. They did the Infantry Tank III, Valentine II/IV. This is a common mistake among kit makers due to misunderstanding the British infantry tank nomenclature. ESCI did the same with the Churchill, calling it a MkIV, when its a Infantry Tank IV, Churchill III. The actuall Infantry Tank III, Valentine III had a three man turret with a circular hatch.

There are two good articles over on ML.

1. DML Valentine by Peter Brown, and
2. A Silk Purse from a Sow’s Ear by JP Morgan, alas the photo have gone from this article.

cheers
