After a year and a bit my first tank [and diorama] is finished. It is the Dragon m4a3e8 "Easy Eight".
I would appreciate if you could have a look at the pictures of the work at my selected link below. Heres what you will see.

Looks good Bren. You may want to dull down the figures a bit. They're a bit shiny.

Sorry to disappoint , I am not a werewolf but was only able to borrow a camera then, and I had run out of flat lacquer and the order would still take a week to reach me and I wanted to finish "Ze Tommy Cooker".
As for dirt on the tracks, I knew something looked odd.!

Hey Bren. Nice model and clean build. The decals dont seem to show any silvering so mostly its perfect. Flattening and wethering would add a lot to the overall finish. As the guys above have said, but also some weathering to the grass and road would make it more realistic. Where the steps come down and the road the grass here would probably be worn away or at least yellow/brown with people walking on it!
Maybe a little tree at each side of the toilets(?) would give a better background as well.

Good job. Nice first diorama. Cool, title and nice tank. I like it.

Some pointers for your next project have been mentioned by others above. A couple of things I'd like to add. The tracks on your tank a bit to clean, they could use some dirt and grime. They could also use a wash to give them a more robust look. If you do a search inthe forums for track painting or painting tracks you'll get a bunch of methods for adding a lot of realizm to the tracks.
You have a lot of cool details added and I really like that attention. One thing I do when I add stuff to a diorama (anything from trees to grass to figures to AFV's) I ask - "is it natural, how did it get there and would it be realistic for it to be here?" I then I think about the slice of time I am depicting and then think about the slice before and after and try to forsee how it got there and where its going. Long story short - would it be a bit better to have the helmets and canteens on the inside of the tank vs on the opposite side of the hatches?? Sometimes this is pure preference and there is no right answer. You ultimately decide.
The building is a bit clean and could use some weathering too.

Just some things to think about for the next dio. You should see my first one -LOTS of things to improve on. That's what this is about - improving and having fun.

Nice build.

Good work you did on that kit Bren,
how did you like the single link tracks? You can always add oversprays for the weathering later on ... - Andreas -
