Very nice Ernesto - very nice indeed. I really like the way you've finished Pulaski's facial details. Congrats.
Not a criticism of your work but the sculpter has got some of the detail on the gorget wrong. The icon image on the gorget is of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa; an image that is both characteristic and symbolic of Poland's nationalism and her fight for freedom and independance (against Imperial Russia during Pulaski's time). Regardless, it is a beautiful sculpt and one I'll be looking out for myself.
Ernesto, by the way it's Kazimierz Pulaski. He fought in the American War of Independance and he is known as the Father of the Polish (sorry, American) Cavalry.
Thanks for sharing Ernesto.
Cheers
Karol

Ernesto - great job!It pleases me
Karol - Not first time, I am surprised your knowledge about history of Poland!Really, it rareness
But small note - Kazimierz Pułaski didn't take participation in the Kościuszko uprising in 1794, because he has killed in battle of Savannah in 1779...
In years 1768-1772 he took part in 'barska confederation' and commanded unit of cavalry and next he was commander of garrison of fortress in Częstochowa, which was besieged by Russian troops.
Greetings from Częstochowa!!
This my city

Adam
I stand humbled and corrected - thank you for giving me a good history lesson. I am always very happy to learn new things.
You live in Czestochowa - what a lovely surpirse! Czestochowa is almost like a second home to me. Although my family come from a different part of Polska (my mother from Gydnia and my father from the Kresy), we have very close and dear family friends in Czestochowa (ul Washingtona and Czartoryskiego).
Thank you again and take care my friend.
Cheers

Ernesto - Applause for taking so rare theme!
Karol - This amazing, that world is small! I know these streets perfectly One of department of my Academy is on street 'Waszyngtona'
History of Poland is one of most curious in the world. Unfortunately, 'due to' German, then communist(Russian) propaganda, emerged many false myths...not many people knows, that by several centuries, Poland was world-power(XV-XVII centuries) and, in 1939 year Poland had strongest army than England, Italy or even USA...
