Hello. This is one of my ongoing diorama projects. And i think this will be the best of my builts . Sherman and figures are from dragon. I ordered a tank commander from mk 35, but local model shop is a littlebit slow on deliveries. Idea will be that a sherman crew is break with some other soldiers. Simple but it works.

Groundwork and figures are in progress

Looking good, I like the Fork in the road. It gives you a variety of 'subject points'. The muddy road is very convincing. The grass is very nice.

On the figures don't forget to muddy thier boots (if the mud is wet) or at least dust them and make them blend in.

Gday Jukka
I really like what you have done here mate!
As mentioned the road junction definitely adds interest, and you have done a good job on the muddy surface.
Have you considered adding any small mud puddles throughout? The contrast would look great I reckon.
I think the trackmarks should be a little more pronounced behind Mr. Abrams tank though.
Good stuff

whats the scale here mate? certainly not 1/48. Looks great. Like one of the above posts said, the mud does look convincing.

WOW I love the road and plants. What did you use to colour the road? Also what grass and plants did you use, they are really great. I tend to stick to Woodland Scenics. The figures are the icing on the cake, cant wait to see it all together

Thanks! The basecolors were raw sienna (Lefranc artist acrylic) and vallejo flat earth. I used airbrush both of them. Then couple washes of burnt umber and mig pigments diluted with turpentine. Pigments were dark mud and europe dust.

In grass, the baselayer is mix of sands and crushed moss and leaves. In the second layer i used static grass and heki wild grass. Bigger plants are calluna and hemp cord. I like to use natural materials.
