Does anybody know what units the 5 marking options on the Tamiya T-55 are from? I am considering building the Polish T-55A version (have not decided what to do about the engine deck yet).

Must have really stumped the panel on this one.

Does anyone know of any websites or books that describe the marking schemes for Soviet and Warsaw Pact units? I have hunted the web with no results. It would think that somewhere (maybe in a vault in Moscow) there is documentation on this.

One would think that after the fall of the Iron Curtain that this type of info would start to flow out. Any ideas?
