Thanks Roadkill for giving me the link. The Dio was really nice for such a small setting. Congrats Ronald. I also have that same kit in my collection. Isn't that the Italeri Commando car? It really has a lot of firepower & tons of spare ammo drums & surprising enough it also has an MP40. Now, how the hell did that gun got into that Allied forces jeep. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

My suggestion for the MP40 would be that it`s a battlefield souvenir. A guy found this gun at a site where they had fought or maybe they took it from a pile of weapons from surrendered Germans. It was not uncommon that Allies used german weapons It`s actually not uncommon that an army uses other armies weapons. The germans used a lot of Russian submachine guns, The americans during Vietnam war were shooting a lot with AK 47 wich was a russian/vietnam/communistic weapon. And so can I name a lot more of those things.
An MP40 in allied hands is not strange.
