Hi folks!
It's been a long time since I've reached out for any help, I do hope that you'll forgive my abscence and give me a hand with this issue.

What I'm thinking of is a diorama using a Willy's jeep, a regular 6x6 stake body truck, a really cool windmill that I found and for the story line I'd like it all to focus around the Dragon U.S. 10th Mountain Division figures (click the link to see the figures) [url]http://www.dragon-models.com/html/6377poster.htm/url]

My problem lies with finding more figures that will go with these Mountain guys they're all bundled up with winter-ish gear. What I'm looking for is a guy to sit in the passenger seat of the jeep, being casual, another guy shooting some german prisoners, possibly another dude that I could use on the wooden railed section of the windmill holding a sniper rifle, a dead german under him, and just a few more mountain dudes just standing around. My vision is:

To have a scene kinda depicting the scene in the movie Band of Brothers where the newbie was in the back of the truck driving by some Brittish army guys pushing some german prisoners outside of a home and shooting them in cold blood. That's why I need a mountain guy shooting, I want a mountain guy sitting in the seat of the jeep as if he's the commander ordering the shooting of the prisoners, the mountain men that I have the link to will be just aft of the 6x6 in pretty much the way you see them on the box, tending to a guy that had bad luck jumping off the back of the truck (LoL). I'd like another guy in between the guys on the box art and the shooting figure just watching the shooting of the prisoners, sorta in awe of what's going on... ie... how cold blooded it is.

Anyone got any ideas where I can find what I'm looking for? I have to cut this short because of time, (dentist apt.) I've gotta run.

Talk to ya later!

Have you thought of converting some figures by adding milliput hoods and cuffs?

I'm pretty sure CD or Lincoln line has a seated winter dress figure. Not sure about the rest though.

One thing you could do if you don't get a good (better/succesful) resonse here you could ask over on Historicsu Foruma.

Wolf of Hornet and Wolf have a jeep passenger in a greatcoat. I think he's called Souvenir Hunter. Or the Miniart US Mps are in the shops (in my LHS at least) they would fit the bill.

If I remember rightly from BOB they were Free French that were shooting the prisoners.

Those are all great ideas, thanks! Jeep passengers seem to be easy, the other characters are going to be trouble it seems. The search is on,

Scott, putty? Oh boy, sends shivers down my spine, but your right, I betcha that I could do it. Sounds like research to me though...

Thanks everyone for the help!!! I've added those links to my list.

EasyOff,

have a look at some of these, all are available from Firestorm hobbies here in Australia, but all are Warrior brand figures and should be freely available in the States as well -

Or the Dragon 101st Airborne (Bastogne) set of figures (which was available as a seperate set or packaged together with a Sherman)

Thanks Greg! I like the figures of the 101st in Bastonge. Some of the positions that their in are awesome... perfect for what I'm looking for. That was a lot of research on my behalf... thanks Greg! As they used to say in school... you really did your homework .
