I'm a bit on the side of caution downloading free downloads as I'm no computer genious. Have enough problems on this thing as it is. Could some-one translate or direct me to a reputable site to translate from English to Polish ( Antique Furniture Refurbishing ). Thanks in advance for any help. if you need translation help, just use babel fish. It runs in your browser and works pretty good most of the time. As far as downloads, as long as you have a good virus protection program such as AVG, which can be downloaded for free, you shouldn't have any problem.

it reads hard. dutch to english was real tough for me

Most of these "translation" engines aren't translation engines at all.

They're "word substitution" engines, and (speaking as a translator by profession) translation is NOT simply about "word substitution".

Hehe I tried it the other way 'round once with bablefish. You get really funny translations. I bet Dutch to English gave some funny results as well.

By the way, if you need anything Dutch translated.... I speak a few words in this language as well

For some really funky translations, try putting in piece of text in English. Translate to Japanese, then translate the results back to English for some good laughs. Longer and more complex sentences and phrases result in funnier output, and doing this several times can make it even more confusing.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to get translated from English to Polish ( Antique Funiture Repairs ). It's for a dio of Warsaw in w.w.2. By the way ,would the curbs in Warsaw be concret or cut stone, and would you know if the streets were cobble stone or brick. Thanks for the help. bob

If you want to have workshops logo over the door or something like that the writing could be “ANTYKI – NAPRAWA MEBLI” (Antiques – Furniture Repairs) or “NAPRAWY MEBLI ZABYTKOWYCH” (Antique Furniture Repairs) but I’d prefer first version – it’s more in style of Polish logos (you could also add with smaller letters below main sign “Śnigórski i Syn” – Śnigórski and Son ).
I’d rather suggest brick, though on some parts of Warsaw also cobblestone were used. I’ve seen both types of curbs on pictures – it would be hard to make a mistake here .
Let me know when you finish this diorama – I’d be happy to see it!
