Hi I'm new to the forum but not to the hobby. I would like to build a diorama of German Panthers unloading from railcars. I have built s boxcar and I would like to put that at the end of the train maybe having infantry unload from it. There would be 2 panther railcars and maybe some side traffic or an entenched 88. So what do you guys think?

HI, Sounds like a good plan to me. What scale will you be building ? Cant wait to see you execute this plan. I am currently gathering railcars for somthing simular. I have a few accessories and a Trump BR-52 but still have a long way to go to get things together. GOOD LUCK and keep us posted on your progress.... milvehfan

Yes there is a company called Belcher Bits here in Canada that makes great, reasonably priced 50t and 80t resin railcars.

Here is the link:

you would have to change the tracks on either of the tanks to make them suitabkle for rail travel.
transporting tiger 1's and 2's were arkward and i believe the tracks were too wide for the rail cars so the tediously changed the tracks which were not as wide leaving the outer roadwheels exposed and trackless. you could try without it as there probably isnt any am stuff for the thinner tracks,
