Hi everybody.I was wondering what was the base color of the splinter pattern on the winter jackets worn by stug 3 crews (late war).I've seen many different versions from dark yellow to a grey green look.I am working on Mini Arts German Winter Tank Crew.I am going to put them in Dragons Stug 3 10.5,which in finished (photos to follow soon)Thanks for all your help.I've been modeling since the late 70's.Thanks to Monogram and Shep Paine I was hooked.I lost interest about 4 yrs. ago do to a divorice.But thanks to my new girl friend,who inspired me to get back into it again.Anyway thats enough of that.Any help with the jacket would be great.

Welcome to Armorama and back to modelling.

As to paint numbers it'd help to know what brand your going to use.

I've recently started using Vallejo 'Model Colour' acrylic paints and I am very pleased with the results.

Thanks Tom,I use Tamiya acrylic.I've heard the Vallejo are really,I might give them a try.
