Wanted to work on figures to get better at them so I decided to do a few small studies. The figures are Italeri, old stuff. The deer is a slightly altered Preiser doe.the sled is a holiday deco item heaped with stuff from the spares box. Wood bases.Natural twig trees and dried flower shrubs. Ground work is my grout mix of taper's mud, sand, and burnt umber acrylic. The snow covering it is the same mix I used on "Ja!" and I must apologize for an error. The mix should be Future.Woodland Scenics snow, and white acrylic paint. A squirt or two is fine. If you leave out the white, the snow mix looks pretty icy. Not a bad thing,eh? Gotta try some icicles soon.
Hope you enjoy. Comments always welcome.
Cheers!

Cool idea Rick and well executed. may have to adapt this for a 'desk set' for my boss, who hunts!
Haven't forgotten about the other dios...just short on time. Actually downloaded the French tank dio and have been studying it off and on.
Cheers,
Charles

Gday Rick
Well done mate, that is a great idea! One on each side of the desk... Your eyes won't know which way to flicker. What moved?

Thanks guys. Right along with improving my figures is the subject of photography. I have never been good at taking photos even with the simplest rigs. I do know that bad photos can make a good subject look bad and good photos of bad subjects really bring out the ugliness. I guess good things can never be simple, always a work in progress.
cheers!
