Hi all, I am planning an M10 Archilles and I have the following queries.

1. Does the French Armoured Divisions operate the M10 Archilles?
2. Does the M10 Archilles uses sandbag armour at the front?

Appreciate if there is any photo.

Yes, the French used the M10....but I think it was just the M10 with the 3" gun and not the M10 Achilles IIC with the 17 Pounder gun.

The M10 was used by units of the Free French Army; one M10 named "Sirocco", crewed by a Regiment composed of French sailors, knocked out a German Panther on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.

Do a Google image search for "French M10"....you will find some images and drawings.

Allied tank crews often used sandbags on their tanks.....I am sure the French probably would have used them as well.

What kits are you using? I saw a conversion set for the Tamiya M-10 online the other day, but now I can't find it!

You can find the conversion set in Track 48 website. Track 48 is a Canadian Company.
