I'm trying to find some U.S. special forces figures to go along with my 1/35 italeri desert patrol kit.What size figure would be suitable for the hummer.Does anyone know of any sites were I might find something similar.

btw was there something wrong with the site yesterday.Mozilla kept saying it can't connect

Well, you need 1/35th scale figures to go with a 1/35th scale kit. So-called 54 mm figures are larger, and correspond to 1/32nd or 1/30th, according to the sculptor's preference. A 5' 10" man is 50.4 mm tall (two inches) in 1/35th scale. Dragon has produced a wide variety of 1/35th scale US figures in styrene.
Italeri's "Desert Patrol" Hummer is a version that AM General offered to the Army in the late 1980's, but it was never produced. You could build it up as company demonstrator, I suppose. Not sure what parts are in the box, but you might be able to leave the top off and just build it as a pick-up version, which was used in large numbers. The more recent kits from Academy and Tamiya are more accurate.

Thanks.I was planning leaving the top off.With out the top it looks just like a special forces dumvee.
